The Book

Finite Obstacles Infinite Truth is a collection of 31 stories from my life and the Biblical lessons I learned when going through them. Since people learn quickly from short, true stories, I put together this collection in an effort that my readers can hopefully find commonalities with my stories in their own lives. When we find shared commonalities in our lives and see others overcome similar challenges, it garners confidence to overcome the finite obstacles that we all seem to face.

This book also honors Christ, for I connect the infinite truth of God’s Word with each story and how I used that truth to overcome my challenges. Have you experienced tragedy? Have you experienced hurt and pain? Do you struggle with overcoming guilt or bitterness? Do you like to see how average, everyday events can and often do reveal the Lord Jesus to us in strange yet memorable ways? Then this is the book for you.

Many people look to authors for inspiration, and as a person currently fighting cancer, I hope my words can inspire others to fight chronic illness if they suffer from one. As a person with trauma and emotional pain in my past, I hope to point them to the infinite truth that God can and does help us heal from such events.

While this book derives from unique personal stories, the reader will find at the conclusion that there is a grand message interwoven that connects all of the stories. I’ve had the privilege of experiencing a myriad of hard-learned lessons. I want to share the knowledge that was learned through my experiences with the final goal of teaching my readers that every obstacle we encounter in life is but a finite obstacle with a terminal end. I seek to empower my readers to discover that every answer to life’s many obstacles is always found in the infinite truth of Jesus Christ.
